Yo-yo-yoga

In the Western world, yoga is usually thought of as a fitness activity, but it is actually a spiritual practice originating from India with emphasis on establishing physical, mental, and spiritual peace. However, in the United States, there has been a large increase in the number of people who practice the physical aspects of yoga (e.g., stretching and exercise) in recent history. Yoga has many health benefits, and studies have suggested that practicing yoga greatly benefits the heart. In 2011, approximately 4 million people practiced yoga in the United States, but in 2011, the number of people practicing yoga has increased to 20 million!
