Smoke and Fog
Smog is a cloud-like atmospheric condition that is caused by pollution and reduces visibility. A reduction in visibility means that things that are usually easily seen on a clear day are obstructed due to the smog. Smog got its name from a combination of the words smoke and fog. When smog was first seen over 100 years ago, it was created by smoke and fog. However, in more recent history, smog is created by gas from automobiles, factory emissions, and other pollutants.
