Opposites Attract

Theo and Jeannette are science partners. Theo is the captain of the football team, and Jeannette is the captain of the chess team. Their teacher could not have paired a more unlikely group, but, much to the other students' shock, they have grown to be close friends over the last six months. Today their science class was about magnetism, and their teacher, Professor Plumb, had just said, "If you place the positive end of one magnet near the negative end of the other magnet, BAM! They come together." Theo whispered, "They say, Jeannette, opposites attract. What do you say, would you let me take you out on a date this Friday night?"
